BREAKING NEW RECORDS…
We reached out to a local record producer who we knew would benefit from increased efficiency in their manufacturing process. Our team visited their factory to watch their current process and identify areas that could be innovated for improvement. Their biggest time waster was pressing out the centre of the vinyl record.
We brainstormed and tested a lot of concepts until we reached perfection. After breaking many records, we finally managed to create a pneumatic punch press machine, which pressed out the centre with just the right amount of force. When this machine was presented back at Lee’s record company, he was so impressed and immediately saw its potential for his process – saving time is what they are all about!
